Competition Volleyball - PVL and JPVL

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) and Junior Premier Volleyball League (JPVL) is an indoor volleyball competition in Brisbane.

Matches run weekly from April to September, excluding special event weekends such as Schools Cup and State Championships.

The PVL and JPVL provides opportunities for both youth and adult players across multiple skill levels:

• Tier 1 – Premier and Challenger divisions

• Tier 2 – Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 4

• Youth Tier – U15, U17, and U19 divisions

Clubs enter teams into the PVL and JPVL, while individual players can trial to join club teams.

Matches are held across multiple venues in Brisbane, with Tier 1 and 2 matches typically on Sundays and Youth Tier matches on Friday nights.

How do I trial or join a team?

Register your PVL/JPVL interest by sending us an email (admin@gcvc.org.au), so that you will be notified of trials and any other PVL/JPVL information. 

When the trial information becomes available you can sign up to attend trial sessions to be considered for a team. Information about trials will typically be posted approximately four weeks before trials on our webpage and social media. 

Trials are generally held in February of each year and information about trials will be available in January. 

If you are unable to attend trial sessions, contact admin@gcvc.org.au and we will try to work out an alternative plan for you.
