What programs can I sign my child up for if they're just starting out?

Our club offers development training for beginners and intermediate level junior players. We run term long programs designed to develop skills in a supportive and energetic environment. We recommend this option for any junior players under the age of 17. Find out which option works for you and your child: Junior Development Training


Do you hold holiday camps?

Absolutely! We run a 3-day holiday camp that is designed to support a variety of levels from beginner to advanced with a whole day dedicated to gameplay. Check out our upcoming camp: Development Camps


Are there options for adults wanting to play socially?

There sure is! Tuesday nights at Runaway Bay Indoor Sports Centre is the night for social volleyball on the Gold Coast. This session will involve time for skills and drills as well as plenty of gameplay. We do require registration to attend and payment to be made in person each week that that you attend. How do I get involved in a PVL or JPVL team at GCVC?

Do I need to have prior volleyball experience to join?

No, we welcome players of all experience levels. Whether you're new to the sport or have been playing for years, our coaches are here to help you improve your skills. Check out Social Trainings for adult training and Development Training for junior training.


What is the cost to join the club?

JPVL and PVL prices will be sent out in letters of offer upon selection. 

Social trainings cost $20 per session.

Development trainings cost $180 per school term (10 weeks).


How much is membership?

Membership is required annually, to participate in Volleyball Queensland and Volleyball Australia sanctioned events. Membership is based on calendar year and is valid from the date of application until 31 March of the following year.

There are various levels of VQ Memberships between $35 - $75. Your VQ membership level must match the level of competition you are playing at. Information can be found on the VQ Membership page. We are an affiliate of Volleyball Queensland and membership must be valid to compete for GCVC.


Is financial assistance available?

We are a proud Fairplay provider, which can be used to cover JPVL costs, Development trainings and Holiday Camps.


How can I volunteer with the club?

We are always looking for volunteers to help with coaching, event organisation, and other club activities. If you're interested in getting involved, please contact us for more details.

Do you hold tournaments or events?

All tournaments and competitions are hosted/ run by Volleyball Queensland.


Where are your training venues?
We value our training venue partners for their support in allowing us to utilise their facilities and courts/ hall. We are partnered with:

Are you insured?
Yes we are covered by VA. Your membership with VQ covers all insurances.

Do you provide carpooling?
Unfortunately, we do not organise car pooling for minors/ juniors or players within the club. Parents and team members can arrange their own transportation to and from the games independently of the club.

Where are the games played?
All games are in Brisbane, on Friday nights (Youth) and Sundays (Seniors). Some PVL rounds are held on the Gold Coast, check the PVL and JPVL draw: Premier Volleyball League
